Nobody understands information architecture
Nobody knows about IA, nobody cares about IA. At some point, it’s just about identifying as an information architect and anything you do becomes IA.
Your first job probably won’t have the title “Information Architect.” Mine wasn’t. Your last job probably won’t have the title “Information Architect,” and lots of the greatest among us don’t have that right now. It’s okay. You are still an information architect, you belong here.
