Allow the information to tell you how it wants to be displayed. As architecture is ‘frozen music’, information architecture is ‘frozen conversation.’ Any good conversation is based on understanding.

We are a creative discipline. Our medium is the conversation. Our best tool is the question. Conversation is the medium of human connection, and the medium we use to build understanding.

This is important because we need to take care of ourselves like artists do and because we need to work on the fundamentals like artists do.
