Process allows you to relax

A well-structured process will allow you to relax into it. It will reinforce the things that you want to do, not requiring you to rely on willpower or make too many decisions.

To let you relax, first, it needs:

  1. clearly separable tasks
  2. that can be done in a reasonable amount of time
  3. and can be recognizably completed

This structure helps prevent burnout by giving your brain moments of closure when clear tasks are complete. When everything happens in a continuous soup, you don’t get the closure you need.
